From the Principal's Desk
Dear Parents,
Thank you for coming to the Science/History Fair last Friday night. I was pleased with what I saw in the classrooms. I enjoyed seeing the work that went into the writing and research projects as well as the display boards. These kinds of projects make a difference int he preparation of a child - the analytical side with the research and writing skills and the creative side with the display boards - visual appeal, precision, design and layout. And then there is the ability to accomplish big tasks.
One of our high school graduates from a few years back had to do a report and display board for a college class back East, and because of her experience in the science and history fairs, she did a fine job, so much so that the professor wanted to keep the project as a model for future students. The progress is cumulative.
One of the benefits of your seeing all of the projects is that it can give ideas for the future, both in creative ideas and also in level of expectation. I appreciate the work that everyone did.
I want to remind everyone about upcoming registration. Each year, every student needs to register. Regular registration is $350 per child, but February registrations will receive a $50 discount. Tuition for the 2018-19 school year will be $4,725, which divides out to $525 per month.
Registration forms will be available in the office on the 1st as well as online.
Sincerely,
Pastor Sutton
